"Lamitnadev" operates 3 neighborhood centers for children at risk.  These centers serve as a study and enrichment environment in the afternoons.

These centers provide a supportive and reinforcing framework for 120 children with emotional, scholastic and social difficulties.  Students and volunteers work in these centers, helping children prepare their homework, providing them with social activities and individual tutoring. There is also a professional teaching staff and counselors who run enrichment classes in diverse fields such as – the sciences, computers, music, drama, sports, etc.

The children have access to a computer and internet center and a Music Room donated by the Friends of Lamitnadev Organization in Israel and abroad.

The centers operate during the school year on a daily basis from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, we also provide summer camps activities which also include special outdoor events.
One of the major aims of this activity is to provide the children with an alternative framework that can stop them from being exposed to external risk factors. These activities help bolster their self-confidence, and advance their level of education and their integration into Israeli society.

At the study centers, "Lamitnadev" underscores collaboration between the various entities supporting the child – the school, parents and the neighborhood, out of the faith and understanding that each person has his/her own place in society.
